When it comes to wedding dresses, most women will opt for a traditional gown on their big day.
But one bride went for a completely different style on her wedding day and let’s just say, it didn’t end well.
In a post in the That’s It, I’m Wedding Shaming Facebook group, a member shared a photo of the bride’s unique outfit with the caption: “Oh my.”
The anonymous bride appeared to be posing for the camera ahead of her special day and accessorised the gown with a frilly garter, fingerless lace gloves and pool sliders.
Since the image was shared on the wedding shaming group, people were left baffled by the outfit she had chosen to walk down the aisle in.
One person commented: “Well it’s not something I’d wear.”
Another added: “What the hell?”
A third said: “Oh honey no…”
And a fourth wrote: “Is she a granny stripper?”
Meanwhile, another Facebook user asked: “If this is lingerie, I like it.”
Back in August, another bride was told she “might as well be naked” after suffering an X-rated wedding dress fail.
Melbourne-based blogger Tina Yong ordered several gowns from online retailer Wish, but she wasn’t pleased with her purchases.
While trying on the Mesh Openwork Perspective, the bride realised it was completely see-through, leaving her exposed.
She said: “If my mum saw me wearing this dress down the aisle, she would be mortified. This is very X-rated, this looks nothing like the photo. In the photo she looks really elegant and you can’t see anything. This is like a curtain.”
