With a career built around food, it’s no surprise that Gregg Wallace, 55, piled on the pounds.
But in recent years, the culinary mastermind has been getting into shape and documenting his weight loss journey on social media.
The chef, from Peckham, London, transformed his figure and managed to trim down to unveil his incredible 3st transformation.
He credited his new lean physique to a simple change in his diet after revealing his starting weight was around 16st 7lbs.
Gregg lost 3st down to a combination of cutting down on fatty, sugary foods and “retraining his tastebuds” in order to enjoy healthier meals.
Speaking previously to The Sun, he explained how he gradually reduced his intake of alcohol and takeaways, then turned to homemade versions of his favourite treats instead.
He said: “I reduced the booze, I’ve had to give up fry ups and I exercise more. When I was at my biggest I was having a daily fry-up, fish and chips once per week.”
But since he transformed his diet, Gregg has started making his own takeaways with healthier alternatives.
The TV chef added: “I’m a huge fan of curries, chillies and stews and it is still possible to lose weight and eat hearty meals.
“Think about cooking with meats such as chicken and pork. All the things that don’t have much fat.
“Use lean mince to make chillies, fill up with tasty stews stuffed full of healthy, low-calorie veg.”
The MasterChef star flaunted his whopping 3st weight loss in a ripped pic on Instagram.
He captioned it “getting there” and left his fans utterly gobsmacked by his transformation.
One wrote at the time: “Smashing it!”
Another added: “Fair play chap!”
It comes after Gordon Ramsay’s weight loss journey was revealed.
