Running up the stairs
According to MyFitnessPal, if you spend half an hour jogging up and down your stairs, you’ll easily burn 200 calories in 30 minutes.
If this is too simple, throw in a few squats to work the lower body too.
Go for a bike ride
If you own a bike, cycling is the best way to get some fresh air and lose weight.
Ditch your regular mode of transport in favour of your bike and you’ll burn 200 calories in just 20 minutes.
If biking to work isn’t an option for you, grab a buddy and go for an evening cycle around the neighbourhood.
Total body workout
If you’re trying to tone your whole body, you can spend 30 minutes hitting every muscle with this workout.
Start in a plank and do two alternative shoulder taps. While holding your plank, move four feet (about the length of a yoga mat) to one side.
Repeat moving back and forth, alternating shoulder taps. Follow the exercise with one minute of squats, burpees and hip raises from a bridge position.
Finally, complete the circuit four times with one minute rest between each round to burn 200 calories.
