The Duchess of Cambridge stole the show at the BAFTAs 2019 red carpet in a stunning floor-length gown in white.
Kate Middleton was joined by husband Prince William at the awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.
The 37 year old wore a stunning white one-shouldered gown by Alexander McQueen, a dress royal fans hadn’t seen before.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ mum wore exquisite earrings belonging to Princess Diana and accessorised with a white clutch bag.
Kate Middleton chose a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes called the Romy in Viola Glitter to finish off her look.
The Duchess delighted royal fans with her ensemble who took to social media in their hundreds to praise the “elegant” and “beautiful” outfit.
And while some were excited to see Kate in a dress she’d never worn before, others quickly made a revelation.
The beautiful detailing on the shoulder, which featured white flowers with pearls resembling pollen, attracted the attention of many of Kate’s fashion followers.
Posting on the Twitter page of “What Kate Wore” many pointed out that Kate may also have the dress in hot pink.
The Duchess attended father-in-law Prince Charles’ 70th birthday in Buckingham Palace in November 2018.
At the time onlookers were only able to get a glimpse of Kate’s dress from her car, which appeared to feature the same delicate one-shouldered detailing.
Commenting on this, on fan wrote: “Do you think this is the same as the pink dress we never saw all of?”
Another added: “The strap on this dress looks like the one she wore to Prince Charles’s birthday. Which leads me to believe that one is also Alexander McQueen but in pink!”
While a third wrote: “Absolutely yes! And knowing the Duchess’ love for getting the same dress in different colours with slight alterations, it very much could be!”
And a fourth pointed out: “Right! I could see her with these two dresses just in different colours.
“I wish we could see the pink one, just so I could know if we’re right or not.”
