The Duchess of Cambridge shed all of her post pregnancy weight in a matter of weeks.
Observers have gushed over the mum-of-three’s appearance this month, with many asking how she manages to maintain her svelte figure.
In the past, the royal has reportedly used the Dukan diet for weight loss.
What is the Dukan Diet?
The diet gets its name from weight loss specialist Dr Dukan.
In the 1970s, the Frenchman revealed that eating more protein and less carbohydrates could be the key to success.
Instead of focusing on calorie control, the regime allows you to eat as much as you want (provided it’s on the approved food list).
To see the best results, slimmers are advised to follow the plan in four stages: the Attack Phase, Cruise Phase, Consolidation Phase and Stabilisation Phase.
The first phase involves eating a protein heavy diet, while the second adds vegetables into the mix.
During the “Consolidation” stage, slimmers are advised to start introducing other foods into their diets.
Finally, the “Stabilisation Phase” is designed to help you maintain your weight loss.
For added weight loss, Dukan recommends 30 minutes of “brisk” walking each day”.

Does Kate follow the Dukan Diet?
Rumours suggest that the Duchess has used the diet to banish her post pregnancy weight.
Reports alleged that she used Dukan’s plan to get back in shape after giving birth to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
As Kate looks very trim weeks after giving birth, it’s possible that she has used the regime for a third time.
How else could Kate have lost weight?
In the past, Kate revealed that she shed the pounds by living an active lifestyle.
HELLO reports that Kate attributed her 2016 weight loss to “running after (her) kids”.
It’s also likely that her love for sports has kept her looking slim.
Nowadays, she reportedly keeps trim by jogging, hiking, swimming and rowing.
As well as taking the time to exercise, Kate enjoys healthy, home-cooked meals.
She previously joked: “William has to put up with my cooking most of the time.”
