Liam Payne jets to London charity bash after Naomi Campbell E-Prix trip

The One Direction superstar, who kicked off his solo career with Strip That Down in June 2017, jetted into London last night to attend an exclusive charity bash.

Hours earlier Liam had been enjoying the sights of Hong Kong after attending the ABB FIA Formula E E-Prix with rumoured girlfriend Naomi Campbell.

Looking dapper as ever, the crooner was seen arriving at the 2019 Portrait Gala hosted by Dr Nicholas Cullinan and Vogue’s Edward Enninful.

Raising funds for the National Portrait Gallery’s Inspiring People project, the bash was the most exclusive ticket in town with guests including David and Victoria Beckham and the Duchess of Cambridge.

Inside the bash, which was held at the National Portrait Gallery in Trafalgar Square, Liam was seen chatting away to Naomi’s BFF Kate Moss.

Kate and Naomi have been friends for the past 25 years after both rising to fame at the same time.

In 2014 Naomi even wrote a gushing newspaper article about Kate branding her “her little sister”.

Before his whirlwind trip to Asia, Liam, 25, had a run in with his ex and baby mamma Cheryl while backstage at the Global Awards.

An onlooker said: “Cheryl arrived 10 minutes before Liam but seemed to be hanging around.

“She was telling stories in a circle with Little Mix for ages and suddenly Liam arrived.

“They only chatted for a few minutes but they seemed amicable.”

When he’s not jetting around the world, Liam is working on his debut album.

The record was initially slated for release last September though was put on the back burner due to his split with Cheryl months earlier.
