Meghan Markle Ireland visit: Duchess of Sussex makes this VERY awkward fashion blunder

The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry arrived in Dublin yesterday afternoon for their first official tour as a married couple.

Making a fashion blunder is completely normal and it happens to the best of us, even Meghan Markle.

She wore a simple long sleeve T-shirt and green Givenchy pencil skirt and carried a handbag on her side.

But if you look closely, the 36-year-old accidentally forgot to take something off her pricey bag.

ROYAL VISIT: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have begun their two-day tour in Ireland

Watching the Duchess closely, eagle-eyed fans spotted that she had left the plastic packaging on the handbag’s protective studs.

It seems as if Meghan might have been in a hurry to grab her gorgeous new £475 Strathberry bag to have forgotten the plastic.

Earlier today, the former US actress broke Royal fashion rules during a visit to Croke Park.

ROYAL BLUNDER: Can you see what Meghan forgot to take off?

She looked sophisticated in the simple black number, but according to protocol, royal ladies must not wear black unless it’s for a commemorative occasion.

The Duchess has become a fashion icon in her own right – but sometimes she pushes boundaries.

Yesterday Meghan arrived with Harry, alongside Prince William at the 100th anniversary of the RAF.

MEGHAN MARKLE: The Duchess of Sussex arrived in a green ensemble

Wearing a slashed-neck dress, she slipped her right leg over her leg ahead of the service.

In the past she has been slammed as “disrespectful” by royal watchers as they must never cross their legs.

One viewer said: “The Duchess of Sussex has her legs crossed wrong. What a disrespect to the Queen. All royal ladies cross at the ankles or put both legs to the side.”
