Bum bags have come back into fashion recently.
The 80s revival has seen ladies wear fanny packs to festivals and the beach.
But some still aren’t sure if they’d be able to pull the love-hate trend off.
So what happened when a mum tried the craze?
Blogger Laura, who posts using the username Knee Deep in Life, decided to try wearing a bum bag.
Drawing inspiration from model Zoe Hilditch, she decided to pair the retro accessory with a bikini.
Both women were pictured in high leg swimwear with cut-out tops.
They styled their cossies with colourful fanny packs, with the mum wearing hers in a more central position.
As Laura’s bemused face suggests, she wasn’t a big fan of the style.
Laura mocked the craze by sharing side-by-side snaps with her 465,000 Facebook followers.
She captioned the image: “Google goals… bum bag fun bag.
“When you get a couple of hours alone and you want to relive your youth – but all you did was wedge someone else’s bikini so far up your a*** you think there might be a little piece of it that stays with you forever…
“You know you’re living your best life when the shop assistant looks on at you in horror as you walk out of the changing room having just completed the full dance routine to Britney Spears Toxic…
“I lived through the 80s guys – I can categorically confirm nothing good comes from a bum bag.”
The post has gone down a treat with Laura’s followers, racking up 10,000 likes in a matter of days.
Many also took the time to leave a comment, with many branding the mum “hilarious”.
One responder wrote: “Absolutely brilliant!
Thank you for always making me laugh. You’re a legend.”
Another said: “You are as crazy as a box of frogs.
“Don’t ever change you’re truly inspirational and hilarious.”
It’s not the first time Laura has tried out bizarre fashion trends.
Earlier this year, the mum rocked a crotch-skimming bikini.
She also got Facebook users laughing when she tried on her version of Kim Kardashian’s X-rated dress.
