Happy National Underwear Day!

While you may have never heard of it, there’s a designated day to celebrate lingerie.

So to mark the occasion, we’ve decided to round-up some of the most bonkers undies we’ve seen in recent years.

So would you be brave enough to wear any of these?

Unicorn pants

Middlesbrough seamstress Nichola Thompson is the brains behind this unicorn underwear design.

Her company, Knickerlocker, sells these panties for £33 a pair.

While they won’t be to everyone’s taste, the entrepreneur has sold thousands of units to date.

The novelty knickers also come in fox, pig and panda designs.

Oral sex undies

Lorals has unveiled new silky, super-stretchy underwear which can be kept on during foreplay.

This allows ladies to kick back without worrying about the “fluids” and “smells” of their intimate areas.

Founder and chief executive of the clothing company, Melanie Cristol, believes these knickers are a must.

She told Cosmopolitan UK: “I heard from so many women who loved oral sex yet turned it down almost every time.

“I thought to myself, there really should be a product out there for those times when we want oral sex, but we don’t want to be 100% naked and exposed.”

Bow lingerie

Boohoo launched its Wrap Me Up Bow during the festive period.

For £9.80, customers could buy the garment that made them look like a sexy Christmas present.

The asymmetric undies aren’t for the fainthearted.

They feature a high leg cut and thong bottom, exposing a lot of the crotch region.

Denim thongs

PrettyLittleThing stunned shoppers when it released its Mid Wash Denim Knicker.

The thongs are fashioned out of jeans material – and we’re not sure how comfortable they’d feel.

Shoppers were quick to mock the skimpy design, with one tweeting: “I mean I do love PLT, but WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY.”

Another said: “(This) makes me question everything.”

The full bush is back in fashion, but we’re not sure these knickers will be flying off shelves any time soon.

Unlike typical briefs, these ones feature fuzz at the crotch.

Made from organic cotton, the women’s “hipster”-style underwear was first designed and created in Finland by Nutty Tarts.

The C-string

If you thought the G-string was racy, you’re bound to be left reeling by these knickers.

The C-string is a narrow strip of fabric that sits in between your legs and is held in place by a wire “tail”.

The idea is that you pop it on and it stays put.

Think of it as a headband for your groin.

Handcuffs lingerie

Fashion Nova stared selling its Meet Me in Bed underwear set in March.

While its fishnet bra and knickers aren’t anything new, the bundle’s accessories certainly are.

The outfit comes with a eye-popping harness, which seductively criss-crosses over the body.

Sexy arm cuffs are another key feature – and they can even be used as handcuffs.

Thigh-high stockings and attached garters complete the kinky ensemble.

Sideboob bikinis are huge this year, with many Instagram stars trying the craze.

And previously, we revealed that vagina-skimming swimwear had made a splash.

The look didn’t go down well with everyone as one mum mercilessly mocked the craze.
