Finding a pair of jeans that fit is trickier than it sounds.
While some gape at the waist, others are too tight around the thighs and bum.
If denim has blighted you in the past, you’ll be pleased to know Next has come up with a solution.
The retailer is selling bottoms in “in-between sizes”.
This should give customers are better chance of finding their perfect fit.
Next is trialling a new sizing policy for its jeans.
Selected items will now come in “in-between sizes” – 11, 13, 15 and 17.
Currently, customers can try the half sizes in skinny, slim and boot cut styles.
The store is also experimenting with more sizing options for its chino trousers.
Fashion fans seem to be pretty chuffed about Next’s initiative.
Many have taken to Facebook to gush over the idea.
One consumer remarked: “Amazing. I’m always in between a size.”
Another wrote: “Brilliant idea! Glad it’s not an April Fool.”
A third simply said: “Finally!”
A Next spokesperson added: “Next are always looking for ways to help women feel amazing in what they wear.
“After spending time with our customers and listening to their feedback, we have decided to trial in-between sizes in some of our favourite jeans and tailoring pieces to ensure that we are offering them the best fit possible.
“To start with, we will introduce sizes 11, 13, 15 and 17, and hope to roll this out in more sizes and styles soon.”
