A student looks totally unrecognisable since he embarked on his weight loss journey.
Dylan Hall, 21, weighed around 30st 3lbs when he finished high school back in 2017.
But when he visited Austin Peay State University for a new student day, he knew it was time to change.
The student, from Tennessee, US, stopped eating all his usual high-calorie meals and snacks for a start.
Then Dylan survived on nothing but potatoes for two weeks, followed by a strict no meat or dairy diet.
And the slimmer also took on a tough exercise regime to help him shift his weight too.
Now Dylan weighs around 14st after dropping an impressive 15st during his transformation.
He said: “During a tour of my college, I lost my group because I couldn’t keep up.
“I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it to my classes on time if I stayed on that course.
“Around the same time, my sister also gave birth to my nephew. I didn’t want to set that example for him.”
The first step for Dylan was to curb his “flavour addiction”.
He continued: “I started by doing a taste bud cleanse. I only ate potatoes with no seasoning for two weeks.
“It really helped with my cravings. I then cut out all dairy and red meat. For the most part I just counted my calories.
“I didn’t try to make my healthy food taste good, I just had to fuel myself. I wanted to break my flavour addiction.”
Before he kick-started his weight loss journey, Dylan survived on a diet of fast food, meat and processed carbs.
He detailed: “I’d usually get something from McDonald’s on the way to school. I would get more than a normal portion for sure.
“For lunch, I’d get a double portion of whatever the school lunch was. I didn’t really have a set dinner.
“When I got home, I’d eat on and off until I went to sleep.”
Dylan switched his breakfast to egg whites with two pieces of low-calorie toast and for lunch, it was a turkey sub with no cheese.
He didn’t step foot inside a gym until he lost that first bit of weight.
Then when he did, Dylan started off slowly, introducing some cardio before picking up the weights.
The student added: “After the weight loss, I was left with a considerable amount of excess skin, I wanted to fill that up with muscle.”
Now Dylan wants to have an operation to remove his excess skin.
And it’s been all positive for the student who has found love during his weight loss.
He concluded: “I met my current girlfriend 3st into my weight loss.
“Since we’ve got together she’s lost 5st 7lbs. My dad also bet me $100 (£76) to see who could lose 4st first.”
