The 29-year-old hit headlines after telling how she had a “kiss and cuddle” with Everton striker Wayne Rooney before his drink-drive arrest.
Simpson, who was looking for a £6,000-a-month “Sugar Daddy” online, then took to ITV’s This Morning to “clear her name” last week.
In the chat with Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, she said feels she’s been “thrown under a bus” – claiming she had done nothing wrong.
But now a body language expert has picked apart her behaviour on the show and revealed some very interesting observations.
“She’s loving every minute of the attention”
Darren Stanton, TV’s Human Lie Detector, believes Simpson was worried about how she came across as she opened up in her first TV interview.
Speaking to Daily Star Online, he said: “Anyone thrown into the media limelight like this is clearly going to find it stressful and we see throughout the interview a head flick gesture, which she does in response to anxiety when asked a probing question.
“Throughout the interview her posture is closed.
“Her legs crossed over each other and her arms intertwined, people tend to make this gesture when they are feeling very, very vulnerable.
“She is clearly very concerned how she is coming across in this interview.”
On the show, Simpson said she felt “regretful” for what happened but maintained that she was not in the wrong.
She told Phil and Holly how she had been previously misquoted and said she didn’t have her eye on Rooney when meeting him at a cocktail bar in Cheshire.
At one point she claimed she would have not appeared in the newspaper if the former England captain was not so high profile.
Psychologist Darren said: “When she’s asked about what went on between the two, she flashes a gesture known as ‘duping delight’.

“It’s a smile that crosses the face and it’s an unconscious gesture which conveys, ‘hey, I did this and I’m proud of it’.”
He added: “At given moments she makes a classic gesture called ‘chin thrust’.
“It’s a gesture of aggression and defiance. Animals make this gesture as a signature of power and control.”
Darren believes she makes the same gesture when being asked about dating other footballers.
He said: “The significant thing here is verbally she’s trying to come over meek and mild – and almost playing the victim card over all the media attention.
“However, my opinion is she’s loving every minute of the attention.”
Since the show on Thursday, Simpson made an appearance at Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers’ MMA fight last night.
She was joined by a number of reality stars including Charlotte Crosby and Gaz Beadle – who almost had an awkward run-in after splitting last year.
