A woman “felt discriminated against: when she was unable to fit one of the two dresses she bought from an online retailer over her head.
Hannah Goulding purchased the Snape Red Snake Print Mesh High Neck Cut Out Bodycon dress for £20 from the PrettyLittleThing website.
The 22-year-old, from south east London, bought two dresses in the same size but in different colours from the fashion brand.
However, she struggled to get one of the dresses through her head even though the other garment fit perfectly fine.
Since the fashion blunder, Hannah posted a photo of her head stuck in the dress on Twitter back in March.
She wrote: “I feel discriminated to be honest (I ordered two colours in the same size and my head fits through the other one and it’s not even that fat).”
Hannah, who works as a videographer and blogger, has since contacted PrettyLittleThing about the incident.
She continued: “I usually love buying clothes from PLT, I actually love their shape range as it fits well in all the right places, with the exception of this item of course.
“The quality is very hit and miss, usually a hit. But with the price you pay for some of the items, it’s what’s expected. I usually have to order two sizes of each item because I can never predict what size I’m going to end up being in their items.”
A spokeswoman replied to Hannah’s tweet, saying they were really sorry about the situation with her item.
The official account told her: “Hey Hannah I’m really sorry to see this I completely understand how you feel about this could you please drop me over a DM with your order number/email address/full address and I will get this sorted for you.”
Daily Star Online has contacted PrettyLittleThing for further comment.
